HatchFlow Privacy Policy
HatchFlow (“the App”) is a focus timer that stores your session progress on your device. This policy explains what information the App handles and what it does not.

Information we collect
HatchFlow does not create accounts, and it does not collect personal information such as your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, or location.
The App stores the following data only on your device:
- Focus timer state (remaining time, session length, running / paused)
- Session mode names and durations you create or edit
- Local progress such as total focus time, hatch count, and level
- Whether you have completed onboarding
This data never leaves your device as part of HatchFlow’s own features. It is not uploaded to our servers because HatchFlow does not operate a user data backend.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, HatchFlow may schedule a local device notification when a focus session finishes. Notification permission is optional. These alerts are delivered by your device’s notification system and are not used to track you.
Audio and background playback
HatchFlow can play ambient audio during a session. On Android this may use standard audio / foreground-service permissions so sound can continue while the App is in the background. Audio stays on your device; HatchFlow does not record microphone input.
Third parties and analytics
HatchFlow does not include third-party advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or crash-reporting SDKs that send your personal information to us.
App distribution platforms (for example Google Play) may collect their own installation, crash, or diagnostic data under their policies. That collection is controlled by Google, not by HatchFlow’s app logic.
Children
HatchFlow does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App is suitable for general audiences and does not ask for personal data.
Data retention and deletion
Because progress is stored on your device, uninstalling HatchFlow or clearing the App’s storage removes that local data. We cannot remotely delete device-local data because we do not hold a copy of it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
